Hamburger Hill version history

Between 23 and 26 October 2026 Wesware posted six devlogs, 0.2.0 through 0.7.0. The itch.io page itself says the project was published 22 October 2026 at 09:54 UTC and updated 26 October 2026 at 18:09 UTC. The notes below follow the devlogs, not the shorter summaries that mixed those versions together.

The listing and all six devlogs are Wesware official single-source evidence, checked 2026-10-29. The 0.4.0 body begins “WINDOWS UPDATE, 24 OCTOBER”; this is not its article title. The separate Mac filename does not establish a contradiction or its feature set. Devlog index / JSON-LD publication fields differ from the detail headers; both are recorded below, and neither is treated as a build-upload timestamp.

UTC publication fields, checked 2026-10-29. Second column uses index / JSON-LD datePublished; detail-header differences are retained. File sizes are from the posts.

macOS is a separate line

On 2026-10-29 the Mac download is hamburger-hill-0.4.0-macos.zip at 295 MB. No devlog date is attached to that file. Do not tell a Mac player they have the 0.7.0 sidebar, the 0.6.0 wheel behavior, or the 0.5.0 binocular strikes. Those notes describe the Windows posts.

Questions

What did 0.7.0 actually add?

The 2026-10-26 devlog lists frame rate, AI, and rendering work; a better helicopter extraction mission; a rebuilt campaign sidebar with province art and attack previews; denser city streets; new portraits and sprites; equipment tooltips; clearer objectives; clearer binocular support controls; and fixes for recruitment, mission balance, and enemy artillery warnings.

Was the night boat landing part of 0.7.0?

No. Night assault boats are in the 0.3.0 devlog on 2026-10-23. The .50 cal and helicopter insertion are in 0.2.0. Radio and napalm calls are in 0.5.0.

Is 0.2.0 the first public build?

It is the earliest devlog still on the page, whose index and JSON-LD publication field say 2026-10-23 at 05:05 UTC; the detail header instead says 22 October at 19:54 UTC. There is no public 0.1.0 log, so this page does not call 0.2.0 the first build.
